The author clearly said in the exact same sentence that "it will never happen" but for some reasons most readers completely erase that part. The author was making fun of all the cliche usually happening in long story neeeding drama.

Oh maybe OP was joking, in that case sorry. It's true I get sensitive about this topic because I'M SO TIRED of it because you know real well for A LOT of readers it isn't a joke, me and others on there literally went crazy because of people lack of reading comprehension.
