I’ve just been watching a lot of this show called crazy ex girlfriend (it’s really funny and deals a lot with feminist and mental health issues checkit) and the MC has Borderline Personality Disorder which is basically irl yandere because people with bpd have difficulty regulating emotions, often get super attached to specific people, and have intense fear of abandonment.... which can lead to extreme “crazy” reactions when they feel like they have been /are in danger of being abandoned

Like cutting ties with an unstable guy WHO SHE KNOWS HAS ABANDONMENT ISSUES and ALSO WORKS AS ASSASSIN seems like it might be a dangerous idea... especially if she happens to cut ties with him in an unexpected, confusing, and somewhat angry way.
Like if I were an assassin with abandonment issues who murdered you in a past life I’d probably go kill you again.
