I feel like the emperor cares very much for the little ones, and it is exactly why he’s taking that little boy’s words, but still emperor is just a inexperienced father, because he doesn’t understand them very well because he grew up so fast as well as his other children. The thing is he knows how much pain they went through at the palace, why does he think going back will make them happy. HE SAW THE FREAKING SCARS WTF. Im so confused. Im guessing he got worked up when he saw the little munchkins faces sad.
