Concern for health??

I like the story thus far and the idea, but I do want to say, the way she chest binds is soooo dangerous. I know shes in a fantasy world where proper chest binders are not available but ooof does it hurt my chest seeing her use bandages (like the ace bandages that you can wrap.)
As a trans man, bandages (or duck tape, ace bandages, etc) for binding is a big no no. Not safe, please do not do it.

If people are interesting in chest binder whether it be due to cosplaying or just exploring their gender identity, invest in a chest binder from gc2b or other companies that specialize in it.

*coughs* other than that, nice story thus far! Cant wait for more. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I didn’t know this, I always thought they just tied a bandage around their chest. It does look a bit uncomfy, thanks for writing this. I learned something new today~ (▰˘◡˘▰)

Youre welcome! Its more than just uncomfortable. People can damage breast tissue or even break their rib cages from chest binding incorrectly (and of course not safely). Showering and sleeping in it is soooo bad too... The amount of pain your chest and back will be in is honestly scary af. ┗( T﹏T )┛

The author probably had no idea about this too. I also had no idea until I read this.

Gosh, I’m so glad I found your comment. I’ve recently been reading mangas where they had to cross dress for multiple reasons and wanted to try it out, starting with my chest area. I had no idea there were more problems to this other than it being uncomfortable, now I’m scared, ╥﹏╥ I’mma go do some more research

Right? I was also planning to bandage my chest, since I want to cosplay as a man for a day or something. Thank God I saw your comment

Yes please do your research! Im really glad i was able to help you out though. This is a huge topic for trans men as damaging their breasts/chest area will make them unable to get top surgery (its the reconstruction of your chest to make it more masculine). Thats why, they made it a huge thing for chest binder safety when you come out as a trans man. XD

Tho its not just trans men who use binders. Like non binary folks or those who want to explore, dress more masculinely, or cosplay. Definitely look into gc2b binders though. They are good quality and on the cheaper side.

Yeah the author most definitely didnt know. XD you can tell by how the MC slept with it on for one night. Usually, even when binding safely, the recommend duration for wearing a chest binder is 8 hours maximum. Of course life happens and you may have to wear it longer, but wearing it for too long can be dangerous. I remember i had to wear my binder for 14 hours a day, and i ended up sore as hell in my chest. Hurt to move my arms too. I was also told to not wear it for a couple weeks to heal ┗( T﹏T )┛

Youre welcome!! I do hope authors in the future will be more educated on this as this is a serious issue. I always tell my cosplay friends to invest in a binder. I can go on and on about binder safety too haha.
