Is the king die?
No but he has a lot of trauma and suffers from insomnia, nightmares, panic attacks and so on. Truly he is a really sensitive character and has a lot of character development.

YALL i just finished reading the novel. Believe me when I say the king has gone through a lot of pain, he will do some crazy shit but it will truly kill him. The stuff he does is before they get close so he doesn’t do it while they are closer to es other. He has really bad ptsd. It’s an extremely good novel and really refreshing since it’s more realistic. He is extremely cute trying to win her over. I hope y’all could give him a chance and let him and her be happy! Also at the end of the novel they show what happens after the FL’s and her family die after being be headed! ITS PERFECT MUAHAHAHA
