Can people not pair every character in same sex relationships just cause it’s a bl webtoon? That scene with Jiah and Mom does not make them lesbians (not that it would be a problem if they were). I think Jiah simply admires Mom for her cool personality. Mom caught her from falling on her ass and told her to wear comfortable shoes at work instead of the heels she was wearing. Haebom also ends up thinking about how he almost misunderstood that relationship. So Jiah’s like is probably admiration for a chill superior.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Just let them ship if they want. If you see them as friends, then that's fine. But don't put them down just because you don't ship them. Also I am confused. What does the sexuality tag of the webtoon have to do with this? It's like saying, "Stop shipping straight relationships between characters just because it's a straight romance.", which happens ALL the time. So apparently it's bad for bl webtoons but okay for straight ones? Like what?

As opposed to wrong, in my opinion it’s excessive. People seem to pair every character on the slightest interaction. Which I can understand cause many bl’s tend to have another gay pairing after the main couple. So what I’m trying to say is not every couple needs to be gay.

I definitely see what you mean, but I think you're already taking away the meaning of "shipping". That's why it's called shipping because it's a way of fans to freate a fantasy of theirs for characters to be together, canon or not. Characters don't have to show any intamacy or interaction at all for you to "ship" them. People can ship Trump and Shrek for all I care, even though they never interacted, and that's fine (weird ships like these actually happen by the way). What I'd consider excessive however would be when they'd blackmail creator in order for their ship to be canon. Such as the case of My Hero Academia.

Yes, well that’s where our opinions differ. Not that your example isn’t excessive, but what I find excessive is on a smaller scale than you. So agree to disagree. Thanks for the reply.
