It was just a passionate bite not a mark
There was a difference between love bites and a mating mark i believe. Mating marks are usually on the back of the neck and usually have to leave a permanent mark so taehan would have to bite through his skin to make a mating mark. also every abo/omegaverse story is different so there could probably be no form of bond at all
