This is the story of Miharu, a man that was abused by people that he loved when he was younger, and continues to use sex as a way to find love, because all he wants is someone that makes him a priority and loves him unconditionally. The fact that he had sex with Daiki doesn't mean that they are in a relationship, he sees Daiki as a co-worker and a friend. Maybe later on, he will start feeling that Daiki is the right man for him. But for the time-being he needs to "find himself" and fall in love for someone that really wants him, which hopefully will be Daiki.

Yes I do know they're not dating, but this doesn't change the fact Miharu treats Daiki bad, and after this new guy he treats him ever worse. Which them being co-worker or not doesn't change the fact that Daiki may or may not see him as a friend/lover/brother. But Miharu doesn't seems to actually see Daiki as a friend. I can only wish that in the future Miharu starts noticing that Daiki is not just an worker at his establishment. And atleast as a friend. Because I would never treat my friend like this.

Miharu sees Daiki maybe more as a co-worker or as friends with benefits. I get that people want to look at this as a romantic story, but this is basically a damaged man that doesn't know how to treat people good, because he was never treated good either, it's something he needs to learn. About the new guy, he sees himself like that guy, so he is trying to protect him, he doesn't realise he is being taking advantage. Human beings are not that easy specially when you are much older, and have a lot of baggage, they are complex and some take a longer time to be better as a person. As I see it, Daiki is a guy that decided to impose himself on Miharu's Cafe as a worker, which Miharu accepted, Daiki knows what Miharu is but still stays around, at the moment I just see two guys that are not exactly friends but just work together. Maybe in due course things will change.
