Hey! the novel version of this story is finished but im only on chapter 62 (to reference, the comic version is only around chapter 20) so i dont have the answers to all of your questions but...

in the novel (up till chapter 62) phillip has not talked to lucia personally, but has tried to reach out to her through the female doctor. idk how much you want to be spoiled so ill just leave it at that fo now(づ￣ ³￣)づ
