Can someone please explain to me, why Sebastian use "watashi wa" the female pronoun instead of "boku wa" the male pronoun, when he says "he's just one hell of a butler"? (Source from anime)
And is he using the female pronoun in the manga too or is it just in the anime? Sady I can't read japanese kanji, and I really like to know.
Anyone here who knows this?

    "Watashi" isn't female, it's neutral.

"Atashi" is female. And "Watashi" is also more formal than either "boku" or "atashi", which is probably why Sebastian uses it.

Also I found this site, and there was one sentence I'm still cracking up on:
    >>If a male character uses atashi it is almost certainly meant to imply that he's Camp Gay.<<

    I can't. I just can't. :'D Please someone tell me it's true!
