the story never romanticize it though, the opposite. if you actually bother to read the whole story you will know that it isn't their first abuse like it seem at first. not everything is what it seemed at first, but yeas both of them are fuck up in the head. it's not romantic or anything, it just what it is.
they both two fuck up guys that can only get each other cause they are fuck up in the head.
Yeah i agree but i dont think he had Stockholm Syndrome i think he was playing along with him because he found living in the real world tiring like he said near the ending that he was selfish amd only thought about himself and used others. So i think the times where they had somewhat sweet moments it was just him playing along with sungho. Also i was suprised no one talked about them just bouncing back being fine after all that, wouldnt they need some therapy? Dude got raped but brushes it off some mistake they made. It was a good story though just dont know how to feel about the ending.
Ngl i only read the start chapters but stopped because of how f-up it was but was curious how it ended so i decided to look and it was saying all that shit about not looking back but dude literally comitted crimes and is free to walk (i am glad he feels guilt and tried to turn himself in - wish it focused even more on this) and the others 'love' seems to be more like stockholm syndrome
They both need therapy and so do some of the readers
Their relationship is toxic but it seems like some of the readers romanticize abuse and rape (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Edit - by romanticize im referring solely to the readers not the actual manga itself
To me, a good ending would be something like them getting therapy then if they both want to, to persue a relationship aswell
I am neutral towards this ending - i am glad they can move past the past but it feels too neat (e.g. the evidence is gone)
Please tell me if any of what I write is wrong (havent seen this for a while so some of my recall may be wrong)
