Orisis actually did, He loved him alot and became selfish. Seth hated him for that so he committed fake suicide and tricked him, Orisis drowned and he couldnt do anything since its water
osiris wasn't unable to do anything because it's just 'water', but because it was the river that souls travel on their way to duat(egyptian realm of the dead), so because he was technically already dead, water isn't osiris' weakness only set's ╮(￣▽￣)╭
