Actually the seme was small back then and he couldn't control himself. Yes he raped him but I guess they were children and seme himself didn't want to do that. Later on he wanted to look for the uke but his father stopped him so he couldn't do anything.

He was not gang raped. He was raped by only one Alpha and that is the same Alpha that bit him. He had to forgive the Alpha because he was as much a victim. He was too young and he spent so many years looking for the uke to make up for his mistake. I personally did not want the Omega who set it all up for be forgiven but I guess the author has so much forgiveness to throw around.

I think they're referring to the uni friends when referring to the gang rape. I understand why it happened, but I really hated that scene. I don't like how blasé Rika was about it either, and everything just got swept under the rug.

Regarding Rika's alpha, personally, I do believe Shiina's a victim as well. That omega Naruse orchestrated the rape and it was awful and inevitable in thjs case (just like the uni friend gang rape. Drugs, just stay away).bWhat is important to me is that Shiina was sincere in his affection and care for Rika, even going so far to look for him all this time. He really treasured Rika too, and didn't have sex with him until they both acknowledged their love for the other. He fingered Rika when he was in heat, but it was with Rika's consent and he didn't go beyond that. He also respected Rika's boundaries and was willing to 'let go' of him if it meant he was going to be happy. The circumstances of their pairing was fucking horrible, but I do like how they were portrayed after.

Actually we can't judge the extent of things if we can't experience it. The attraction alphas feel can actually be unbearable and ppl with less will power won't be able to go up against it even if they don't wanna assault someone. So technically if they do not intend to do it, it can't be called rape. For example, when ppl r fed aphrodisiac. What they do after that cannot be considered their own intent.

I do sympathise with alphas who are forced to mate with omegas; more often than not, people on here just automatically view them as villains but context matters. We're dealing with the Omegaverse after all.

Legally (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) rape is a crime with intent. However, what then about date rape drugs (which, if we're thinking realistically, both rapes in this story utilise this) which can cause that line to blur? For the childhood rape, that's a very clearcut imo, there was malicious intent. Naruse is guilty. With the uni friends, it was accidental-- they didn't know Rika was an omega. The drug unleashed his pheromones and it made them lose their minds. My major gripe with that scene though is that Shiina was able to withstand the effects (albeit it was extremely hard on him as well) so it weakens the uni friends' defence imo. They regret it, they're sorry about it, but it ultimately doesn't change what actually occured. Obviously this is all fiction and they're living in a world with their own made up rules, but regardless, I think it's important to still label it as rape. It's fiction, yes, but we need to call a spade a spade and not shy away from that, as it does does help in ensuring we don't romanticise the crimes often perpetuated in BL.

Those Uni friends didn’t succeed in raping him. They tried to but his Alpha saved him.

That is why I gave an example miss. I clearly stated "intent" here. This means that our intentions matter. Even being in right state of mind has an effect on the punishment. We can't be sure of anything if we haven't felt it ourselves. We can't blame anything unless the victim accepts it as a crime. And Rika doesn't. Cause he knows they didn't mean it. In such cases it's often the victim who decides what clearly happened. Ofc if the victim has problems then he can place rape charges. But since Rika here knew it was a mistake and they didn't really wanted it to be that way. As I told will power matters. Those ppl might have not have had much while shinamust have. Besides Shiina committed the same mistake when he was a kid. It all depends on our control. In a universe such an omegaverse, u can only imagine rape must be common due to pheromones. No one shies away from anything. No one romanticizes rape mids. Even the author who write these don't support rape. What we judge r the dynamics of the story, the couple and how rape was a twist in the story or how rape was used to determine a character's personality.
As an example, Asami Ryuichi, idk how many times he was shown to rape but that reflects his own personality and there wa sno better way to depict it. No one romanticizes rape. It's some banner girls taking things too highly. It's not just bl. Bl actually got this rape idea outta straight mangas. Romanticizing itself is the wrong way to put it. It's the cringe that story brings is what ppl like. U just need to change views miss. We judge a story, its plot and personalities no one judges rape. Its ruining the author's efforts if u r just reading rape as "romance" without understanding what that rape means to the story. Ppl just know how to shout in comment sections but a rape in a story is often a key way to show the guy's personality being forceful or possessive or whatever. No one romanticizes anything. It's just some banner girl shit ppl who don't wanna really enjoy and understand the story say. Mind me no one supports rape. Not us, not the authors and not even mangago. But we all r here for stories and I personally like twisted and mature ones where yeah rape might take place. I got no problem in reading. If someone has any problem then they should just see the tags and fuck off instead of wasting author's efforts. Hope I made myself clear.
