Yep. The characterization matters too. All we can see of the Saintess is how determined she is to kill/take over another woman's body. Whereas the Empress hasn't done anything to make that justifiable in my (the reader's) eyes. Usually, when the saintess is the protagonist, she is portrayed very differently. Or we are given reason to sympathize with her goal. That isn't happening here. And that's why most everybody is anti-saintess, pro-empress. Characterization matters, so much.
Nah man it’s her personality. She reminds me of that other author girl with an annoying personality I can’t remember the name of that one. But pretty much she gets sucked into her story and the main dude dislikes her cause all the shitty things that happened in her life was due to her. Anyway, both the author in this story and the author/Mc in that story annoy the f out of me. They’re like a small aggressive dog that barks 100 times per second.
The saintess here is a delussional bitch, there is something wrong with her head. How could she think that just by killing the empress her soul can be transfered to the empress body. I can understand her if she needs to kill someone just to save her life or to get revenge or whatsoever but naaaaah she just wants to divirginize the ML and wants to have a harem of her own. There is no protagonist halo here it's just that the saintess is such an inhuman filty bitch.
i like how everyone's going against the author/saintess but if the roles were reveresed and the main character in this manga was the saintess/author , no one would say a thing
im not picking a fight , i just found it funny
