Under options in the drop down window of the upper right of the screen you can select don’t show gap and the split will be gone. Although it will still look a bit off.

Am I the only one who doesn't like how the scans now cut in the middle of the illustrations? （/TДT)/
I'm an art student in graphic design. So, when I see beautiful works like this cut in unfortunate places it drives me crazy, and I just feel like crying after a certain point. ┗( T﹏T )┛
