Yep very typical. I’d like for Nanami not to have a problem of his own. I mean he just doesn’t seem like he has many problems you know. It would make Nanami even more likeable if he was straightforward and said “no, I can’t relate to your struggles in a lot of ways but I still think you should chose a path you’d be most satisfied in the future”.
RIGHT! It's so cliche that when a scene like this happens it gets turned around and the other guy has his own set of problems and is just hiding it.
It would be awesome if Nanami wouldn't turn out as the cliche "I'm damaged too" trope
DUDE I FUCKING CALLED ITTTTT
There's gonna be a scene where Nanami has his own set of insecurities and problems. He'll (maybe) cry as he shouts that he understands the pain Takanashi is going through.
They're gonna talk out their problems, Nanami is going to give Takanashi a shoulder to cry and lean on. Nanami is then going to say something like, "I'll be here for you" or "You wont be lonely with me"
Takanashi (might) confront his mother about what he's been feeling and they'll talk out their situation.
Nanami will wait for Takanashi to be ready for him.
Nanami will most likely confess later on, and Takanashi will confess too.
I dunno, just a thought
