Yaoi is a term short for "yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi, nashi," which essentially refers to porn without plot. But we tend to use it for stories that just have a lot of smut regardless of how the plot is, which is why I like to tag shounen ai on stories that have a lot of focus on emotional/soft development as well in order to differentiate it since everyone kind of has an understanding that shounen ai will be somewhat fluffy ^^
Aww, I feel really bad. I feel guilty using this site most of the times since the scans and translator don't get anything from what they're gaining...
I'm really sorry and that I can't do anything, I know my thanks and appreciation is nit enough, but I appreciate your efforts on translating this super fluffy story thank you very much
I see y'all talking about it being tagged both shounen ai and yaoi/smut so i'll talk about that a bit ^^
In Japan the term shounen ai (boys love) is a general term depicting relationships between men, sexual or not, and includes yaoi (which literally means "no climax, no point, no meaning") as a subcategory of it. But in the west/english speakers/our community, we typically attribute smut exclusively to yaoi, and fluffy/emotional relationships exclusively to shounen ai.
Anyways of course I'm once again not too happy that my scans have ended up on mangago but what can I do about it-- I figured I might as well inform you all
