I feel the same way,I wanted to drop it at first to,but this webtoon is such a raw gem, out of many cliche one that I couldn't there and more and more I read more and more I'm scared to fight the outcome

Apparently Paulina only married the Emporor out of her “loyalty” to him and she doesn’t really fall in love with him. Not much character development, and I was hoping for that the most... that she’d gain romantic feelings for him... but it never happened. I’m just here so I can at least make it to the end... it’ll be a waste to just drop it here... for me, at least. So yeah, It’s not the best. :/

Don't forget that the emperor also took on other wives as expected of him. I don't remember if he and Paulina had a child or not

He had 3 wife's he never touched them because it was political he even told them I never love you I think he get rid of all 3 she does get pregnant but runs away I forget what reason but he tries to find her and she starts to fall for him and realizes

oh well i guess its hard for the author to suddenly make paulina fall in love with the emperor with her character

In the ones I read he has a kid with one of them and Paulina’s kid is the one who ends up being the “knight” to the other kid. Also at one point she ends up with a doctor who wants her for her money
