I wonder if the reason King Il opposed Yona's romantic attraction to Soowon in the very beginning is because he saw how much pain the dragon king's curse caused his brother's family and he didn't want Yona to have the same worries with whatever children she may have. Maybe not (probably not?), but I think it could be possible.
