Don't get me wrong Rael is a cutie but Yunifer did nothing to her. And her way of coping is due to her own personal fears, can't just magically want her to become friends with someone who was 'meant to be' her bf's partner (is NOT in this dimension tho). She feels guilty for no reason tho cos Ishid loves her (clearly) can't just put aside Ishid's feelings for what was 'meant to be'. ^.^

Let me excess and explain the situation, in my opionion. First of all, no she dosent have to really try to be friends with Rael. She tried to avoid making contact with her because she didn't have much options in this life-or-death situation. She could've tried to befriend Rael, but in the original novel Yunifer was friends with Rael and died. Yunifer probably thought she should just not get involved with Rael because if she chose to get involved with Rael, she would have a higher chance of dying.
Second of all, no Rael is not Ishid's "boyfriend." They arn't/wern't dating in the first place so technically she isn't stealing him. Yes in the novel they did date, but they didn't here, so it dosen't matter. Even if they did date Yunifer would probably be dead-. Also she does end up trying to make an effort to becoming Rael's friend in the updated chapters. She just had a higher risk now that she interacted with Rael.
