why do I feel the art is a little different from before

The background of the panels was sloppy too. It felt like it was a rough draft of the chapter before all the beta and background and details were finished

I think the art started changing when they introduced Kyoko's mom. Now Ren is looking similar to her in structure (though I see he has his thick neck back, like when he was BJ)
