That Meat Shield company should've have a front bussines on earth. Like Seol could be 'officially' working at a normal company - nine to five, and business trips - but actually going on missions in the other world. He then could show his bussines card to his family or something.

Ah, I've finished reading the novel. It was overall great. The plothole that I mentioned above is covered in the novel.
To be honest though, his neglecting of his family and uh wife (?) and indulging himself in his own self-centered desires earned the distrust— and rightfully so. It is a little unfair that he gets another chance in a world where he is buffed and blessed; being able to run away from the consequences of his mistakes.
