As a one night stand, it is her decision to tell him or not tbrh since he literally doesn't have any reason to connect with her other than the fact that its a chance for him to actually go out with her but i do get where your frustrations coming from,lol. Like I get neglect can be a thing but at the time he was essentially a stranger to her and letting him in just cuz he got her pregnant can be just as dangerous. She couldn't have known if the guy was abusive or not. A father could have been abusive and killed a child.
Plus if you've read the recent chapter you can see why she decided to do the things she did.
