Ikr like i feel like both of them are wrong like naruse should have listened when asumi asked him to not trust this and asumi shouldn't have assaulted naruse but honestly i feel like naruse is ashamed of his relationship with asumi that is why he does not want to reval it
Exactly. They're both in the wrong - Asumi moreso because his reaction was too extreme and unneeded, but I understood his feelings. However, he should've just walked out and resolved it when Naruse was sober.
Naruse, on the other hand, doesn't take Asumi seriously, rather takes him for granted, and I have always felt that Asumi's feelings are stronger than Naruse.
Naruse just went with the flow in regards to everything - even in the beginning of the "relationship", which was also basically assault, but there was growth on Asumi's side after that. That entire development flew right out the window with the previous chapter.
Naruse didn't even have to reveal that he was dating someone to Yanagi, he just had to be firm and say he wasn't interested instead of faffing about like a naive idiot.
Everyone keeps saying it's victim blaming to say Naruse was in the wrong, but he technically should have been more cautious. I'm not justifying Asumi's actions at all, it's never the victim's fault, but Naruse should have had his wits about him more and been open and honest with Asumi about going drinking w Yanagi - for his own sake more than anything - esp when his lover has expressed insecurities regarding that person.
Does Naruse even see Asumi as a lover at this point? I kinda want Asumi to distance himself from Naruse, both out of intense guilt for his actions, and out of frustration bc his lover has the brain the size of a peanut. Take the necklace back and yeet
That being said, this doesn't mean I've forgiven Asumi for assaulting Naruse back when they started off either, just saying.
Im not trying to justify for asumi but before yangi asked naruse for a drink asumi called him and said he wanted to have dinner together because he didn't see him for a long time this what made asumi frustrated rather than being with his lover he chose to go with person that his lover feel very insecure of
