Koichi ends up staying with Caius (they end up having sex too cos plot), so in Koichi's world the reality is changed so that Koichi ended up dying with his parents in a car accident.
Oh and it's definitely not the end of this series because right after the tender moment we get introduced to elves. (▰˘◡˘▰)
