I know how you feel. ;A; It is torture to wait for the manga scanlations... Especially if there was a cliffhanger.

Most scan groups have staff still in high school and college so they don't have a lot of free time. Unfortunately that means slow releases or a lot of dropped projects. A translator doesn't have to have perfect English to translate either. As long as they can translate Japanese/Chinese/Korean into English so that it's kind of understood the proofreader will go through and make it sound better.
wherever I see incomplete manga tag because of lack of translator I always thought how good it would have been if whole world speak one language no native languages were there it doesn't have to be english any language would do sigh...
moral: I wouldn't have to wait for translation....
and I don't have to feel bad about my English .....
