This technically isn’t a love story because psychopaths are incapable of feeling emotions such as “love”.

Does Kirin's feelings mean nothing? There are both and one way in love.

One sided love doesn’t really count as a love story as it involves “love affairs” and that requires both parties to mutually love one another. Of course kirin could possibly love kang moo, but his feelings can never be reciprocated because kang moo can’t feel love. If he could, he wouldn’t be a psychopath.

So all the unrequited love stories in the world are not love stories?
What kind of arrogant yardstick is this?

Of course I won't stop you if you don't think this is BL and you don't want to see it. For those of you who see it as illegal anyway, there is no influence on the writer whether you see it or not.

    nemo August 20, 2020 11:25 am

No, rather, the writer may prefer not to be seen by people like you.LOL

What kind of love story would it be if both people didn’t love one another? If they never get together at the end, it’s more of a tragedy story. Anyway, it’s not a BL, but it is definitely a yaoi.

Yeah, it would definitely be a yaoi, but I wouldn’t consider it a BL Story since one person of the couple cannot love anyone and BL usually focuses on the romance aspect.

The writer was definitely not aiming for a romance story, but instead more of a realistic tragedy involving a same sex couple. You’re acting aggressive towards my opinion that I don’t find this to be a love story, and it’s unpleasant. It’s not that I don’t like BL and don’t like seeing this story. This story has a well written plot with 3D characters.

You have very narrow-minded the classification of genres, and that's why you get aggressive comments.
You need to have a broader genre of engagement.
Only then can this genre develop.
Now, most of the cartoons in this genre are only used within narrow plots, and that's something to avoid.

A way of thinking like you is what makes the limits of this genre.

What stipulations do you put on "love" to be able to discredit this as a BL? The word "love" broad yet so restricted all at the same time. It really comes down to the obsessive nature of love in this story, and although he is a psychopath - he is able to hold some level of "love" for the MC that would keep this within a BL genre. Plus, lots of BL is just fucking and they're doing that soo lol

While the possessiveness that kang moo exhibits for Kirin is a trait of love, it isn’t love itself; he simply cannot feel love the same way “normal” people can because his brain is structured differently. And although love is a term without a solid defining term, psychopaths aren’t labeled as “lacking empathy“ for no reason. He can “love” the Mc in the best of his own way and ability, but many psychologists would say that psychopaths can’t truly love anyone.

All I’m saying is that Kang moo cannot truly love Kirin because he is a psychopath, take that as you will; if you still want to disagree, come back with a scientific study that is peer reviewed, and I’ll listen to your stance.

    LynxSeoltang August 21, 2020 11:08 am

Possessiveness and ownership is the kind of love they feel. So technically they're still in love. A toxic kind of love

I do not disagree that Kangmu's feelings are not love. In other words, you are only focusing on Kangmu.
And I just don't agree that's why you say it's not BL.
