I think it was less in how hot he was versus how she knew others would look at them. Almost all around the globe, women are treated as an object of beauty so a woman who is out-shined by a man she is in a relationship with can be detrimental to her self esteem. We have already seen this happen even before they went on a date.
She doesn't have the confidence to be with him. She may believe it is all an elaborate prank that will come to light the moment she falls for it. The story is just as much about him dealing with feelings of love for the first time as it is getting her to feel good about being with him.

well said !

Thank you :)
My friends and I usually have a different problem but a few of them have had something close to this. Instead of saying he was more beautiful, however, it was definitely true they were on the same level of beauty.

Well so....
I guess the girl is not really confident with herself when she went out with him I guess? well when u refuse someone coz they're too pretty for you or they're more beautiful than you. I guess that's the time when you're saying out loud that you're feeling more ugly or more bad or not good enough for them (just saying, coz well everytime I think I'm gonna get a very handsome bf, the 1st thought I have in my mind is "Is he serious with me? Am I good enough? If I'm not, someone's gonna snatch him from me")
WTH am I doing saying smtg like this!?!?!? Gomenne for the bad engrish&for saying too much..

No no, you got the point. :)
what kind of idiot tells a man she cant have a relationship with him coz he's too hot.does that mean only good-looking people can date other good-looking person?
no complains on the story though.i really love it.one of my favs
