Yeah. I'm assuming there have been many before Rabbit and it's just part of the job so he's used to it. He'll probably end up caring in the end tho.
When the teacher was reporting to his superiors about his contact on the inside, ie rabbit, the fact that he so coldly remarked how he was prime to be manipulated, especially since his intelligence level was low as well as his self esteem made me think he would easily use and then throw him away if need be, it made me cringe at how little he thought of using and discarding another human being. I guess if something is going to happen between them, it's gonna take some major introspection and change on the "semes" part. I have my doubts at this point that we're gonna see a love connection happen, maybe sex, but I'm still skeptical. Of course I'd definitely love to be wrong.
