For me, in both couple theres one who's more "into it" if you know what I mean, in the two blondie besties (Jian Yi and Zheng Xi) zheng xi is def more straight and only saw Jian as a friend, however Jian even confessed and kissed Zheng Xi in one of the chaps, (he also mentioned liking a boy while they were in He Tian sofa), Zheng Xi stayed friends with him and even rejected a girls confession because of him but is not like he corresponded his feelings. The second couple (He Tian and Mo Guan Shan) He Tian is not openly gay or anything but he's into Mo, is not just basic teasing for me, he's next level like he's genuinely romantically interested in Mo, while Guan Shan sees He Tian as the friend he can finally trust and rely on, he is slowly letting He Tian approach him more and all so they might become a "real couple" at some point but we still dont know, anyways the relationships are precious <3 china is not so open with homosexuality in comics so maybe that's why Old Xian decided to keep it more shounen ai
yeah, I think your answer is precise. even though there are no official couples, and it's bit messy understanding their relationships are so precious... I think it's type which is beyond romantical relationship, like no one can come in between them
