I dont think she can probably use it, i mean it showed us that she only made some light and that took her a long time to perfect
I think she have the idea of how the magic works but choose not to use it as it harms her spirit self and her physical figure. Although, she might use it in time of extremity, but I don't think she'll use it anytime soon

I’m actually curious about this but since Valerie learned how to use magic at a young age does that mean she can use it or she just does want to use it? I think it explained at the beginning but I just don’t understand
