Every mangaka has a different way to portray their omegaverse, it seems that here the heat is not exclusively for the mate but he can tell when his omega goes into heat even thought they are apart.

You’re right he should be punished it’s a bad situation overall but to purposely make it happen... Like geez dude, he really should be punished or face some sort of consequence. And your right it is another universe and whatnot and it is different then our world but still it got me angry (which is weird cause omegaverses don't usually make me angry...).

At least to me, I think is because we don't see a valid reason as to why he fell in love with Rika. We don't see a real development. He just appears out of nowhere and claims he's in love... But why? They didn't know each other at all. I couldn't stop thinking that all it was out of a guilty conscience
I get that! There’s no real relationship development it all like here I am the guy that raped and marked you and I love you and Rikas like I will never forgive you. Then suddenly a couple pages later it’s I forgive to easily. It kinda leaves you with that’s it he didn’t prove he loves you in so way? He didn’t earn your forgiveness in anyway shape or form? It’s a little to jarring to process. I didn’t even realize that until you pointed it out and I think that’s what got me so angry now that I think about it.
And yeah your right we don’t really see his reasoning behind his love. It feels like he loves him just cause well he’s guilty or maybe because he’s his or something like that. It kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth then when he’s leaving it’s not because he wants Ricka to be happy it’s because he doesn’t want to be selfish (or whatever Ricka called alphas... sigh I just wished they had focused on the relationship part a little more.
