Good point. Then again, it's a harlequin story, so it's not really supposed to make sense ^^
I went back and studied it, and I don't think it was hooded (although the first pic really did create that illusion) but I still question the likelyhood of a snake of that size getting in the car unaided. After I heard he had broke off with Maddie, I kinda thought she had something to do with it, but then they never explained! Grrrr!
I'm glad I wasn't the only one bothered by that glaring ommision.
You weren't the only one. I also thought that it was probably Maddie who put the snake in the car, since she totally seems like that level of crazy.
Also, I'm really glad the baby was okay.
What the hell happened to the snake? And how the hell did a hooded cobra end up in South Australia (after all, they have both types of Taipan, which are even more poisonous)? I feel that, whether it was really there or if it was only an hallucination, it should have been explained to the reader.
