Yup and the uncle killed her and the unborn child with supposedly poison. It’s understandable why the ML doesn’t care about his wife since she was a spy and basically helping the ml uncle kill him. As for the child well he probably is upset and angry about the death of his unborn child but the child have nothing to do with his love life so he could possibly just mourn the death of his unborn child when no one around.
