Now that I think. I never ever heard a woman to get bald. Why. Men do get bald, but women why not.

Well, I'm a hairdresser so I can answer that question shortly. Hair loss just is more common with men. (Google mpb male pattern baldness) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Of course, women too have hair loss but usually it isn't as drastic as with men. A number of factors can affect hair loss (as well as your skin) such as stress, smoking, sleep, the food you eat etc. etc. A healthy scalp means healthy hair. That's why most treatments for hair loss target the scalp, and not hair itself.

Also, I can with confidence say that most "treatments" for hair loss are scams. Even in school they taught us that most treatments do not work. Of course there IS a chance they could work, even a little, but most of the time they don't. The most you can do is have a healthy lifestyle. Sleep a lot, eat healthily, exercise, don't smoke/drink. Also stress is a major factor.

    Hope this helps? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Natural baldness is in a gene that mostly affects men, yet it is also carried through women. In other words, if your grandpa from your mom's side was bald, and you're male, you'll probably be bald too. However, other aspects such as stress and allergies can created baldness. Hope that answers a little.
