It would be a different story if they convinced Kouichi to come beforehand, but you know that's not the case. And if Kouichi stays, he will be forgotten in his own world. His family will forget him, along with his friends, could you handle that?? He can't even enjoy his hobbies like basketball in the titan world, can't achieve his own dreams and goals, and is the only human in that world. And after all that he still had to deal with the raisa fruit fiasco He's clearly not as safe in this world compared to his home in earth. All of that together is so much to deal with and accept itself, ontop of what will happen to him in his own world, do you think just love is enough? His mom won't want him to be happy anymore, because HE WON'T EXIST.
