i think its obvious he likes him and i think yuan kind of knows already hahaha but narratively speaking, it makes more sense that he doesnt confess and considering the previous chap, i think huan wen is just relieved that he can say that hes gay. his whole arc seems to be about being able to outwardly say who he is (ie. that blind date he had with a woman in a similar position to himself). i think he didnt realise how emotional actually saying that hes gay would be for himself. at least thats my interpretation haha

ah. he must have cried bc thats basically the first time he's outwardly said that he's gay and it was met with positivity. he's been holding it in for so long :( huan wen will be happier after this
