Doopdoop was it you that had a talk with me it Miha may not be related to Sohwa at all? I remembered having a conversation a few times and there were many reasons but I can only remember a few. When someone as asked me to explain I can only say what I remembered. :-/
I picked up one it because of the comments about his mother and he looks nothing like them.
Miha is 28.
But I don’t remember talking about if Geum’s father was Miha’s real father. If we talked about it, we did not talk about that. We just have to wait and see.
I am not sure. I may have put up this idea looooong ago but I certainly don't think I am the only one that thought of this. I just didn't want to give that idea too much credit due to just the facial similarities/expressions in those characters because it could just be the art style.
What kept bothering me were the similarities in treatment and responses to Geum's dad from Jeon. It just feels like the same treatment of Miha. It was also very bitter too. Like how I imagined he would react towards Miha's mom.
About the age thing, I mixed it up with Black haired boy. I just confirmed it. His age shows up in a chapter where the character bios with ages are noted. All I know is that I thought it was significant because they are so close in age and for some reason I keep thinking that boy's vendetta may run much deeper than just revenge. I think his life is hinted as brutal (sex slave) but something broke the dam in him and Jeon's reaction to his picture in a future chapter -- I don't know, may be I am thinking too much of it.
But really it is just the bitterness Jeon secretes from every pore when in White Haired guy's presence that gives me a sense that Miha is the personification of what was between them. And Jeon meeting him in France once again and long ago, just reinforced that for me.
Again, just a theory to chew on til we get some real answers.
That's what I thought. That black haired boy is Jeon's son.
Jeon treats Miha like he is an affront and someone he was saddled with, and it is clear he is rabidly angry with whoever he hails from and taking it out on Miha for good measure.
Now, does this mean that Jeon screwed his own son? That scene when some of Chungha's backstory was shown pretty much suggested that. Oh my...where's my throw-up emoji?
He also acts a lot more like Sohwa while Miha, Geum and Ryong (I guess that's Geum's father's name) have a running vulnerability (despite how ruthless Ryong is, I think that's attributed to a harsh life rather than just plain meanness).
It is like despite what environment they came from they can still show kindness (except for Ryong - I think he leveled up long ago into the monster we see - all you get from him is a sense sadness and melancholy for what never was).
That's what I am thinking. I think Miha might be Ryong's kid from when both Jeon and Ryong were in France. Those two are really into each other as shown in later chapters but they have a lot of bitterness towards one another. Whatever happened between them, neither one can seem to let it go.
I think Miha may have been one insult too many for Jeon and somehow he was saddled with him, making the bitterness that much worst and Miha's life a living hell.
I am guessing Chungha was a product of a fling of Jeon as a way to excise Ryong from his life and somehow Ryong got a hold of him and he continue to play the games he is known and resented for.
I wouldn't be surprised if those two killed each other as the only way that they could be happy together would be through that.
Also their ages were revealed as 52 and 50 which surprised me as I thought they would be in their forties yet this gives them plenty of room to have children Miha's and Chungha's age. I just didn't see them as teenage parents after all. The way Miha and Chungha have been treated takes deliberate cruelty not reckless teenage carelessness.
I am not sure who miha father is but I don’t think it is Jeon. I just think he is not related but I could be wrong But May because of his real name either the mother or father or both could be foreign. Miha real name is Michael. Not a Korean name. And he does not know his mother. It seems Jeon had him at a early age. They have his birthday as 1/1 because they don’t his real birthday. Jeon uses 1/1 and that is why his is 1/1. But his real birthday is 5/9. Jeon’sreal birthday is 12/10.
Interesting.
Chapter 27 is translated in Spanish but that Spanish is too Spanish for me (meaning from Spain) and they have ways of saying things that might as well be another language for me.
It leaves off with Ryong handing Jeon Chungha's picture in an envelope and before he opened it saying something about '72 (which to me implies a year - could be wrong) but I did not understand the phrase used to frame it. Like I said, very Spanish lingo so couldn't figure it out. It sounded like he was reminding Jeon of something that happened within that phrase due to Jeon's alarmed response.
I definitely am in the boat that Jeon isn't the daddy. I just figured that somehow he grabbed him as either penance or as his responsibility and came to regret that choice every single day of his life.
I can't remember if it is hinted at the beginning that he took/bought Miha from his mother after he had been with her for a bit (maybe toddler age). Miha seems to have no recollection or at least yearning for someone else that raised him before.
I know he has a foreign name and foreign looks. In Spanish, Chungha refers to him disdainfully as "mestizo" (mixed blood) which is funny since this term is used specifically in Spanish to refer to the mixing of European and Indian (native to the Americas) blood, in other words the offspring residing in most of Latin America.
Again, this was a hint that Chungha's reaction and attack is tied to finding out who's offspring he really is. He looks down on the foreigner "son" and sees himself as superior to him being fully Korean.
Hi guys,
Bear with me for a minute (spoilers of future chapters included).....
Proceed with caution....

There is a thought that has been nagging me and this is just speculation so please note that I am fully aware I could be wrong...but I think Miha might be the son of Geum's father (white haired guy with the long nails).
I have tried to dismiss this thought for awhile because I first put this together when I saw Sowha's father reaction to him and saw that as very similar to his reaction and treatment of Miha, and also because Miha looks like him. The last part make me dismiss this because these are drawings so the artist will use their art to convey emotions in similar ways through different characters and in the case of Dispar, Geum's father, Miha and Black Haired boy (sorry I can't seem to bother remembering their names) have very similar facial expressions because they are the characters that appear to have less control of their emotions or express more vulnerability than others.
But in later chapters (here be the spoilers) we find out a bit more about Sowha's father and Geum's father's relationship. I can't believe Sowha's father is the Bottom. As much as Sowha's father can turn cruel to Geum's father, he lets out hints about how much he cares for him in between.
Geum's father is a drug addict. And there seems to be a very painful past between them. Sowha's father's mask of the tough guy slips for a second when he sees the needle marks running down his arm and he remarks upon it while Geum's father appears touched but also like a man that's just lost hope a long time ago. Jeon (Sowha's father) also notes that he (white haired guy) is taking medications hinting
to a possibly life threatening, if not terminal illness.
Sowha's father does everything he can to make their encounter painful like he is reminding himself that he can't fall into pitying, softening towards or loving Geum's dad again.
And that's when they speak about their re encounter many moons ago in France. It is hinted that this is around the time he found Miha. And many things clicked again.
Though their relationship is sexual, Jeon's treatment of Geum's dad mimics his treatment of Miha. He looks at them with the same contempt with the exception that he is not attached to Miha.
There might be something about their sons, the four boys involved: Sowha, Geum, Miha and Black Haired boy, are tied for some reason. Black haired boy and Miha are both 27, while Sowha and Geum are both 20.
Geum's father shows Jeon a photo of black haired boy which could just mean that he is giving him up as the culprit of Sowha's stabbing but unless there is an issue with the translation, Geum's father mentions something about 1972 before handing over the envelope holding the boy's picture to Jeon.
If it wasn't for the mention of the year I would have concluded that Jeon was angry because of the stabbing alone but it seem to be telling him of something else that only Geum's father and Jeon know of (perhaps the boy too).
I don't know. It is all speculation but something may not be straightforward about the boys' prominence. At least that's what it appears to hint
