hank you for posting this!! I love this series but the past few chapters had me feeling kinda complicated and I'm glad I'm not the only one. I agree that they're still young and trying to figure things out but I also relate to Yohan in needing verbal affirmations for things so I totally understood where his insecurities were coming from and my heart just hurt for him. But hopefully the final chapter will give this series a satisfying send-off.
I know they’re only kids and still learning but it’s a bit frustrating how Moogyeong treats Yohan sometimes. Being someone who is equally anxious and insecure about things, you’d think he’d be more careful about what he says and how he reacts, in case it’s taken the wrong way.
“You want to do that with me?!” The way he pushes Yohan away is really hurtful but Yohan doesn’t even acknowledge this and blames himself when they have that conversation on the balcony. Of course he wants to have sex... he’s a teenage boy in a relationship. Why are you so surprised Moogyeong? How is that a foreign concept?? Is Moogyeong not interested in sex at all because he should communicate this to Yohan.
I find it hard to believe that a teenage boy would not feel sexually attracted to their partner in some way at least. It appears he enjoys their kisses so I feel like this is poor pacing/character writing from the writer’s side.
I was so happy when their feelings connected but it’s been so long and Moogyeong still makes Yohan feel so insecure in their relationship that he has to ask for permission to hug him when they are in a private room? I don’t think that’s ok... I think they’re young so it’s ok that they’re not ready to go to the next base but at least have a conversation about it because
And I don’t remember Moogyeong ever actually telling Yohan directly that he likes him so why is he surprised that Yohan doesn’t know he loves him?
You can have different love languages but Moogyeong is so bad at showing any sort of affection towards Yohan that I feel sorry for him.
There’s only one chapter left so I’m really hoping there’s more progress for Yohan’s sake :( I feel like he’s holding up this whole relationship whereas Moogyeong is mainly just receiving.
