The first season was his best season, he was nice there to Xiaobei but as the story progresses he became more antagonistic, possessive, selfish, and revealed to be psychotic. Even his character description reads:
The powerful orc from the royal family. With his high status, he's the greatest rival to the black wolf king. He has a gentle smile on his face yet is a very cold person. One of his abilities is too seduce and manipulate people to commit crimes.
He was always intended to be antagonist.
