Why are y’all getting mad about Suha being called out for rape

Even Suha himself was disgusted and said he was a pervert after he came, acknowledging what he did to get off wasn’t cool. He had to talk himself into saying it was okay to do it since he was being ground into from the back.

It’s fiction, yeah, and they clearly love each other, but if I woke up to my boyfriend pounding me without even asking if I wanted it, it would freak me the fuck out and I’d probably dump his ass. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Kinda clear in these comments who have and haven’t been in healthy relationships. That being said, I still enjoy this story and I’m will to extend my disbelief and ignore what happened. But call a spade a spade sis, no consent + sexual penetration = rape. At the very least, sexual assault.

I srsly love this couple and I mostly blame the author for putting in that scene bc it was 100% rape. I’m mad at the author for thinking this was a normal thing and not rlly fucked up. Now I’m super conflicted about whether to continue reading or not bc I don’t wanna support the author but I love my boys too much ╥﹏╥

I’m not at all conflicted, this kind of thing is par for the course in yaoi. Let’s be real, more than likely the director would have been just fine with what Suha did and probably encourage it, given the nature of their relationship. ( ̄∇ ̄")

But it doesn’t change the fact that it was indeed rape. And everyone getting mad that others pointed it out confuse me. “Don’t like don’t read” is the flimsiest excuse to direct criticism away from something.
