This depends. If you are in a committed relationship and have a mutual understanding then it would not be rape. It’s all about the partners response. For example, I’m married and I wouldn’t ask my husband for verbal consent every single time we fool around. I’ve woken up to him fondling me plenty of times and I most certainly reciprocate this. If he doesn’t like it or is too tired, he simply says no or I read his body language. In all technicalities, you can call it rape, but it depends on the emotions and reactions of the individuals involved.

nah it’s not rape if you’re- well that person explained it

it is. to the married person explains this, you guys are married and have been together for presumably a long time and have gotten comfortable with doing that to each other, therefore giving consent to it. however, in this case, they have only been having sex or doing foreplay when they were conscious. this has never happened before in their relationship therefore they have never consented to this. it doesn’t matter if the director liked it after suha tells him because you can’t give consent after the act has been committed. this is clear cut and dry rape because one person did not give consent
