I agree. The mom was considerate too. I believe they're good parents but just wasn't able to act all "parent-like" that much because of their business.

I hope they’ll both be able to reconcile with the father. I think the dad did have good intentions for his son but of course with a conservative mindset he would look down on the bitch-like behavior and be strict/controlling...,,
