The girl is trying to survive and thrive in a world where she was manipulated and betrayed and objectified. She's smart and clever and hardworking and passionate, but, for some reason she should also be nice? Also, so far no one but the teacher and Archer have been nice to HER, for her sake. Why should she be considerate of others then?
I am sick and tired of female characters having to be nice and kind and loving, even to people that don't have thier best interests in mind. Aria being materialistic is amazing and more relatable imo.
Aria is very materialistic, she doesn’t really care about people’s emotions, she more or less focus’ on how much merit they give her, for example like Kyouya from Ouran Host Club. Although since she is 15 she acts very sensitively when things don’t go her way, I hope she starts thinking more gently. Other than that it really is a good storyヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
