I've recently seen a video of a Japanese AV actress that was asked the question by American viewers why Japanese AV actresses keep saying, "No" in the videos. The viewers said that it makes them feel like the actresses doesn't enjoy the sex because they kept saying no.
The actress was actually surprised by the question because as far as she is concerned, American porn is weird because the girls keep saying things like "More!" or "Harder!"
That's when she explained that in Japanese culture one does not explicitly say if you want something. The other party should know how to read between the lines. Saying no or wait or stop does not necessarily mean that no, wait or stop.
It could probably be the same in Korean culture, actually most Asian cultures. One shouldn't be too greedy, if you are enjoying something be careful to not flaunt it too much lest the gods be angry-kind of attitude.
I think because it's cultural there are a lot of societal clues that a person who has grown-up in that culture can help him make a right decision when it comes to these kind of situations. I think what the AV actress was trying to say was Japanese porn is mostly geared for Japanese people who knows about these cultural implications.
The same could be said with Korean webtoons. The primary audience are Koreans who grew up within these cultural and societal implications. They just know about it. And even if their works do get translated to English for English-speaking countries, the cultural implications are not translated.
I know it seems weird and for some it might lead to harassment or rape (and sometimes it really do) but culture plays a BIG role when it comes to our attitude towards sex.
It's good, but so tired of bottoms who always say stop and whine. We need more kinky, active ukes. It would've been hotter if he said: "More, go harder." Dammit!
