there are couples like this. my uncle is fine example same shit happened and got caught. side piece left. begged for wife to stay with him and because they have 3 kids. she did. the fucked up thing was that she was pregnant at the time and their kid came out a premature. stay stayed together though, went to therapy. now i guess they are happy at least what they are showing us. and the kid luckily overcame the health issues as she grew older. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
I know two couples whose marriages got stronger after, because the men were really sorry and they went to counseling. In fact, I can say, they got to be like they were first in love, like honeymooners, and their kids ended up benefiting (not a broken home). I'd say sometimes, maybe, it's not worth it or the cheater is arrogant and doesn't learn. But sometimes, it opens things up instead of closing them, if both are willing to work at it.
I used to say I'd kick a cheater t othe curb when I was younger. I've seen enough to know it's not always teh right decision. Forgiveness and regrouping sometimes means a STRONGER marriage. Which amazes me, but you live and learn.
