I would say however if they probably inserted hunter Cha in earlier/ made Jinwoo not so stonecold at times, then the romance aspect would float better. Otherwise now it's just in as a awkward plot point when we can be learning about strategy and why that other older Lass was scared of him
In the web novel, the romance between the two of them isn’t really a focus or a priority at all. So I wouldn’t be too worried. The webtoon is following the web novel pretty closely

Am I stupidly childish if I say I don't vote for Jinwoo to have a girl in the story? Like make this story a pure adventure, fantasy, action, I never saw this book with romance in it. And I don't like Cha Hae In as his girl tbh. I like her individually tho like she's cute and all but it's just that I never saw her worthy of Jinwoo. I am so judgmental I want Igris to kill me.
