You should give it a try, read as much as you can tolerate than drop it when you can’t or skip some chapters and come back to it again. I used to be like you before but than eventually I grew a bit tire of GL and now prefer guy on girl romances

I totally get what you mean. I used to hate that they’d make girls really weak and defenseless cuz it’s really annoying and cringed but I started reading ones with strong female leads and I have no regrets

I was also a bl fan and i still am but i started to ran out of good bl mangas so i just started out with only male mc without romance which slowly turned into girl x boy mangas and believe this manga is worth the read( i still read bls tho too )

Well not all are like that. I started with shoujo, read shonen, action and all that jazz and moved to yaoi amd don't really like shoujo since then but there have been some really good ones ive read.
