I feel like I've explained this a million times.
Marrying and having a child before you graduate college AND become financially stable is NOT the cultural norm in Korea. People will mock and talk about you behind your back because it is seen as a reckless and irresponsible action. Even people with good intentions will gossip. It's almost never perceived as a positive thing, especially when pre-marital unprotected sex during teenage years is frowned upon.
You're right. Omegas dont exist in real life. But it is fact that this story is set in Korea, cultural norms exist in Korea and creatives are influenced by cultural norms in their work.
"He didn't graduate from high school?" brought up as a point by Dojin's family when he first brought Hyesung home.
==> People are expected to finish high schooling, regardless of second gender, in this world.
So...your point?
Can y'all just stop hating, like GAWD. This author live in the real-world so he is just using a little thing called : perspective. Just because it has a fantasy parts. Does not mean those feeling can't be real. It happens a whole lot in the real world fyi. Just because u did not see does not mean it did not happen. You oblivious "Bish"
I think alot of people, including me, are defending Hyesung because his anxiety and inferiority complex just really resonates? People come online to read BL to escape this shit irl, find themselves in a character only to have a boatload of people shitting on this character for the very traits that resonates with them. This chapter got very personal for a lot of people (subconsciously), even though you think it's not that serious (which objectively speaking, it rly isnt lol)
But yea, could tell you didn't have malicious intents, just seem genuinely baffled so I just thought to explain?? But that other person's reply pissed me off, so i guess my reply to them was rude.
And yea if you think Hyesung's annoying, that's totally fine because it's your opinion based on your interpretations of the story anyway. No right and wrong. Just hate it when people go round saying stupid shit like "nO cHaRaCtEr dEvElOpMeNt" when the character development is literally. right. there. I can make a list of it?? So how do people just not see it?? I just hate opinions that are founded on disproven basis like pal are we even reading the same story?? (Sorry for this mini rant)
Who's gonna judge someone that's married? They might even think oh shit they got their shit together lmao
