Thing is when people read fanfic people know that it’s pure fiction and not real so to call people disgusting just for enjoying something that’s harmless is disgusting itself because people know it’s not real they’re just reading it for entertainment not because they’re fetishising them as gay the ones who do that are the ones that claim that they’re definitely gay in the real world when actually we don’t know

There’s a difference between reading fanfic which we know is purely fiction and then claiming that a certain idol is actually gay so the person shouldn’t mix them up and call people who read or enjoy fictional fan made content disgusting when they literally know it’s not real and it’s purely entertainment

The issue is that some people do. And again, this isn't about this yaoi specifically, it's about fanfic of speicifc group members (brought up by people.in the comments). That may be fiction but it's seriously weird to write pron about real people like that and even worse, be one of those people who specifically makes the group aware it exists.
